Blazzaj – the first moving concert of EpB 2023

All eyes on Pelican Timisoara and ears on Blazzaj! On May 6, we celebrate the debut of the project with a super concert with our dear Timișoara residents

We invite you to the banks of Begheului for a walk or a bicycle for a moving concert that will make the banks vibrate and hearts and legs dance! We start in a moving concert around 19.00, from the Heroes' Bridge (Gara de Nord) and sail slowly with the Pelican to the Decebal Bridge (Băile Neptun), after which we pull ashore.

To which shore?! At D'arc on the shore, at the pontoon! There we continue the party with you, those who love Bega, Timișoara and good music! Participation is free, even encouraged! We invite you to walk with Pelican on the banks, on foot, by bike or simply laze on a bench, along the route we propose.

Blazzaj

post-2_1

The funk journey began in 1998, when a group of musicians from different musical genres (from jazz to classical to hardcore) invented a complex device, full of dynamism and color, fueled by bursts of energy, written in mirror and read Blazzaj.
Buildings and dancing cars, golden ghettos, personified oratians, sarcasm, humor and dreams – all can be found in the stories of Blazzaj, a constantly changing band that brings freshness and energy to the landscape with each appearance.

The crew:
Valentin Potra – drums
Alexandru Pascu – bass
Gabriel Almasi – guitar, synth
Petrică Ionuțescu – trumpet, keys
Lucian Nagy – saxophone, wind instruments
Octavian Horvath – vocals

During their 25 years of musical activity, Blazzaj have taken the stage alongside: Al Jarreau, Al Di Meola, Dandy Warhols, Defunkt, Toy Dolls, Parov Stelar and many others.
